Welcome to CargoLug!

Thank you for your interest in CargoLug products! Our products include the original CargoLug ‘Small’ anchor, the CargoLug ‘Large’ anchor, and the CargoLug Tunnel Platform Luggage Rack system for Polaris snowmobiles.

I started the CargoLug line in 2014, while riding my 2010 Polaris Dragon. I needed a means of holding various items to the sled. After first using a screw eye and a carriage bolt, I developed the design into the small CargoLug anchor. With it in hand, I headed to several local snowmobile dealers, (and a few further away) to discuss its viability as a product.

I use the 155/163″ tunnel rack with the small anchors on my Dragon, with great success.

Briefly, I schooled as a welder in 1998, worked for a railing company for a couple years, then opened my own welding business from 2001 to December 2017. During the latter years, I added lathe and mill work to my expertise, ultimately purchasing a CNC mill. In addition to the product lines I provide, I also offer prototyping, one-off part services, and small run part manufacture through www.robmpleas.com.
